CNN —Max Verstappen is racing “on another planet,” according to Red Bull team manager Christian Horner, after the three-time world champion dominated a crash-filled Chinese Grand Prix to record yet another victory. “His form is absolutely fantastic,” Horner told broadcaster Sky Sports. The Spaniard began the race second on the grid, behind pole-sitter Verstappen, and stuck close to the three-time world champion before easily overtaking him on the second lap to take the lead. For just the first time in two years, he retired from a Grand Prix, citing brake failure. Visa has taken over the title sponsorship of Red Bull's second team, which has been called Scuderia AlphaTauri since 2020 when Red Bull put its fashion label on its two junior cars. CNN —As Las Vegas gears up to stage its first Formula One Grand Prix in more than 40 years, three-time world champion Max Verstappen appears unenthused by the prospect of racing in the glitzy host city. But Red Bull driver Verstappen, who wrapped up his most recent world title last month, isn’t particularly enamored by the theater atmosphere on display in Las Vegas. Red Bull Racing's dominance in Formula 1 this year is translating directly to higher sales of its namesake energy drink, the team's principal and CEO, Christian Horner, told CNBC. The Red Bull team, which also counts tech giant Oracle as a title sponsor, has trounced the grid this season, winning 19 of the 20 Grand Prix weekends so far. The Red Bull team secured the constructors championship the weekend prior, in Japan. Red Bull declined to share specific sales metrics, but a company spokesperson reiterated the F1 "uplift" and said it's particularly noticeable in corresponding race markets. The decision was reached after a virtual hearing that started on Wednesday and was deferred to Thursday. SAO PAULO, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Carlos Sainz was fastest in a Ferrari one-two with Charles Leclerc in Friday's sole practice session for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, with other top teams keeping a lid on their true potential. Sainz lapped with a best time of one minute 11.732 seconds, with Leclerc -- polesitter for the past two races -- 0.108 slower and both after late runs on the fastest soft tyres on a windy afternoon. Russell had been top of the timesheets until Ferrari bolted on the soft tyres near the end of the hour.
